BRISTOL Dogs' and Cats' Home has launched its Winter Warmer Appeal, asking the public to donate food and blankets. Lynn Gilman, manager, said: "We're appealing for donations of food, blankets and money for heating costs; to help provide for the hundreds of unwanted animals that find themselves alone and in our care during the cold winter season. We are, as usual, full to capacity with unwanted and stray animals continually requiring our help."
Bristol Dogs' and Cats' Home's an-nual food bill would total Pounds 52,000 without the appeal. The charity is particularly in need of tinned dog food and blankets. You can leave a tin of food at one of its collection points around Bristol, in shops and vet practices.See the full content of this document
