BATH and North East Somerset Council has objected to the Pounds 150 million expansion of Bristol Airport over fears it will contribute towards climate change.
Councillors voted in favour of a motion to object to the scheme, which includes multi-storey car parks, an expanded terminal and improved transport links. Mr Coombes, who proposed the motion, said: "We have been told by the Climate Change Committee that the aviation industry will have to cut emissions from planes back to their 2005 level by 2050.See the full content of this document
