'I UNDERSTAND the great attachment that so many of our staff and supporters have for our Knowle building, which has been demonstrated through an outpouring of affection - I am proud of the passion and commitment that local people have for St Peter's Hospice.

I would like to take stock and explain our situation and future plans. The incredibly difficult decision to close the Knowle building was only reached following the most careful evaluation of the options open to St Peter's Hospice.
